This Charitable Trust was established in loving memory of Gabrielle Erna Faickney and her passion for animals – both big and small.
About the trust
The Gabrielle Faickney Charitable Trust was set up to promote and extend the care of animals (including the rehabilitation or prevention of ill treatment of animals) and to support other charitable causes whose primary role is the care of animals.
Animal welfare is at the heart of what we do.
Our focus areas
Our primary focus is to make a positive contribution towards the care of domestic and companion animals in South Africa
Our secondary focus is to make a positive contribution towards the care of all other animals (wild animals)
Support we can provide:
The transfer or payment of money
The donation of goods and products
The provision of services and skills
Our priority areas of animal welfare support are to those organisations who:
- Have a sustainable impact on the care of animals (including research and education projects).
- Care for animals in disadvantaged communities.
- Includes the care of animals used in the education or rehabilitation of children
